Can I include memos with my transactions?

<This article refers to using your  Transaction Detail sheet which is linked in your Dashboard.>

Yes. Here's how:

  1. Find the transaction you want to add a memo to. For example: 
  2. Type the word "Memo" into the Check # field. (It's okay if you have to override a check number with the word "Memo". Don't worry, we will not remove this check # from the transaction.)
  3. Right click on the word "Memo" and select Insert Note.
  4. Replace the words "type here" with the memo you want us to add. It should now look like this:

We will then add this memo to your QuickBooks file. Unfortunately, this memo will not be displayed on any of the reports we send you, as it's difficult to do so. But know that the memo will be included on that transaction in your QuickBooks file.
