How do I review the bookkeeping work so as to ensure accuracy?
We use our best guess when categorizing your transactions. Then it’s up to you to review our work and let us know if something needs to be changed. We custom built your Transaction Detail sheet to make this process as easy as possible. Simply type a change into the sheet, and we will update it in your books!
The Transaction Detail sheet is linked in your Dashboard, and contains all of the detail of the transactions that make up the summary reports.
If you have questions about how the transactions should be coded, what the codings mean for your business, what is and isn’t tax deductible, etc., it would be in your best interest to ask your CPA, as they are better qualified and licensed to give this kind of direction and advice. We encourage you to share your Dashboard link with your CPA so that you can review and edit your transactions together.
